Executive Pastor Evette Patterson
Pastor Evette Patterson is a resident of Mebane, North Carolina and is a native of Wake Forest, North Carolina. Pastor Evette has had a desire to learn more about God from an early age. Even when her home church, New Rock Spring United Church of Christ, only had Sunday School and church services one Sunday each month, Pastor Evette went to Sunday school at another church. Sunday School stirred a desire to learn more about God and assist others in knowing God. At some point in her church history Pastor Evette has been active in many ministries including multiple choirs and praise and worship teams, usher, shepherds’ care, senior citizen, culinary, and women’s ministries. Pastor Evette’s love for learning is evident by her many years of involvement as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher and Vacation Bible school Superintendent. She was also the leader of the Youth Ministry for many years. Under the leadership of Bishop Richard Carnegie Sr. and Pastor Barbara Carnegie, Pastor Evette accepted her passion for preaching the word of God. She did her initial sermon in Feb 2001 at New Rock Spring United Church of Christ and was ordained as an Elder in April 2014 at Love Faith & Power Outreach Ministries.
